Is it so small a thing
To have enjoy’d the sun,
To have lived light in the spring,
To have loved, to have thought, to have done;
To have advanced true friends, and beat down baffling foes…?
The first step might not be the most difficult, but it is certainly the most aggravating.
I dislike the word ‘blog.’ I dislike it only fractionally less than I dislike the word ‘journal,’ or, God help me, ‘journaling.’ However I like words, I like writing, or at least thinking about writing, and I almost always have an opinion about whatever. And my Beloved Husband is not always as fascinated by my pearls of wisdom as one might wish. I have no idea what this will be, or where it will go, or if anyone, including BH, will ever read it, but I’m by God going to write, and we’ll just see what happens next.
